Sandusky, Ohio — June 25, 2025 – Payne Nickles & Company, CPAs is proud to celebrate a major milestone with the 10th Annual Community Shred Day, happening on Thursday, September 18, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM EDT at both the Sandusky and Norwalk offices. In partnership with Firelands Local, this event continues the firm’s decade-long tradition of supporting data security and community engagement.

Clients and community members are invited to drop off documents for secure shredding and enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by Payne Nickles. This milestone year marks a full decade of providing a safe, convenient way for local residents and businesses to responsibly dispose of sensitive materials.

Since its inception, Community Shred Day has continued to grow, with participation increasing each year. In 2024 alone, the event helped shred 36,891 pounds of paper, resulting in the preservation of over 313 trees. What began as a simple community offering has evolved into a well-attended tradition that makes a tangible environmental and security impact year after year.
