What You’ll Do
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and financial services to a wide range of clients. You’ll manage multiple engagements, take ownership of your work, and collaborate directly with clients and team members.
You can expect to:
- Prepare and review a variety of individual, business, nonprofit, and trust tax returns
- Assist clients with year-round tax planning strategies
- Prepare compiled or reviewed financial statements
- Research complex tax issues and draft clear, well-supported memos
- Help clients navigate IRS notices and audit responses
- Assist with review, compilation, and audit engagements.
- Provide support with estate and trust planning
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s organized, curious, and motivated — someone who values accuracy but also likes to problem-solve. You should be comfortable with client interaction and confident managing projects independently, while still being a strong team player.
Ideal qualifications:
- CPA license (or eligible to sit for the exam)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master of Taxation is a plus
- 3–5 years of experience in public accounting
- Familiarity with UltraTax CS or other tax software
- Solid understanding of tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofits
- Strong research and communication skills
- Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines
