Payne Nickles & Company, CPAs, is proud to announce the promotion of three professionals, effective July 1: Tyler Puckrin to Manager, Jodi Stang to Supervisor, and Cody Schaffer to Senior Accountant.
Tyler Puckrin joined Payne Nickles & Company in July 2020 as a Staff Accountant and was promoted to Senior Accountant before earning his CPA designation in 2022. He works primarily in the firm’s tax department, preparing business and individual tax returns, and also provides audit and attestation services. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Operations, and Related Sciences from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration, with a specialization in Accounting, from Bowling Green State University. He also serves on the board of Second Harvest Food Bank, including its finance committee.
Jodi Stang joined the firm in February 2015 as a Staff Accountant and was later promoted to Senior Accountant. She works primarily in the firm’s tax department, preparing business, individual, trust, and nonprofit tax returns, and also provides consulting and advisory services. Jodi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Toledo and a Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA), also from the University of Toledo. She is also actively involved in the community, serving as secretary on the board of the Huron County Community Foundation, on the St. Joseph Parish Finance advisory committee and St. Joseph School Endowment advisory committee, and as a 4-H Cloverbud advisor.
Cody Schaffer joined the firm in January 2024 as an intern and was later hired as a Staff Accountant in July 2024. He works primarily in the firm’s tax department, preparing business and individual tax returns, and also provides audit and attestation services. Cody holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Toledo, where he also minored in Finance.
